Starting March 1st, Senate Bill 540 requires that California cannabis retailers must “prominently display” the state-provided Responsible Cannabis Use brochure at the time of purchase for both online and in-store orders. To help you comply with this regulation, we’ve added a new configuration setting that, when enabled, will display the brochure in a modal popup window after a customer submits their order, like in the example below:

Navigate to Treez Ecommerce Admin → Settings → Customization

Scroll to the Regulations section and find the SB 540: Cannabis Products Health Warning setting

Click to turn the toggle on (active/green)

From the store status dropdown menu, click Purge Cache to push the changes to your website

Voila! Customers should now see the brochure appear after submitting a new order

4. Click Update to save your changes
5. From the store status dropdown menu, click Purge Cache to push the changes to your website
