Overview

Product Carousel slices in Prismic offer multiple sort and filter options to help highlight different products across your Treez Ecommerce website. The Homepage is the primary location where shoppers interact with Product Carousels, but you can update these slices or add a new Product Carousel slice anywhere on the page. Other pages in Prismic — such as the Category, Sub Category, and Strain pages — can also display the Product Carousel Slice.

Sort Options

  1. Price (Asc) / Price (Desc): This option allows you to sort products by price, either from lowest to highest (Ascending) or highest to lowest (Descending).

  2. Filter By Category: If you are using Product Carousels to highlight specific product groups, you may want to filter by a specific category (e.g., "Flower"). By applying this filter, the carousel will only show products within the selected category. The "See All" link, when set with the product group URL, will direct customers to a page displaying all products in that group.

  3. Filter By Brand: Want to highlight an in-house brand or a high-margin brand? The "Filter by Brand" option allows you to do just that! Enter the brand name exactly as it appears in the POS into the Filter by Brand field, and the carousel will display only the selected brand. Ensure that the "See All" link directs customers to a page showing all products within that brand grouping.

    1. For example, if you filter for the brand "STIIIZY" in the Flower Carousel, users clicking the "See All" link will be redirected to a page displaying all Flower products by STIIIZY.

  4. Filter By Group ID: This filter utilizes Product Groups or Collections that you have configured in SellTreez. For more details on configuring Product Groups, visit this Treez Help Center Article.

  5. Filter By On Sale: Who doesn’t love a sale? If you want to showcase discounted products first, toggle the "On Sale" filter to true, ensuring these products appear at the beginning of the carousel.

By leveraging these sorting and filtering options, you can enhance product visibility and create a more personalized shopping experience for your customers.
