Auto-Generated Payment QR
A payment QR code is now automatically displayed on the Customer Facing Display at checkout, enabling seamless mobile payments without requiring touchscreen interaction. This improves accessibility and reliability across providers, especially for non-touch hardware.
Key Details:
Enabled by default for all mobile-supported payment providers
Configurable in TreezPay Portal → Payment Configurations → Pay Provider → Hosted Payment toggle
Customers can scan the QR code to complete payment on their personal device
For payment modalities where phone # is required & phone not present on customer profile, customers can enter their number within the flow and retry
Removes dependency on touchscreen-based payment selection
Leverages existing SDK real-time payment handling and status updates
