In Michigan and Missouri, purchase limits are tracked in Metrc to prevent selling an individual more than their legal allotment. When checking-in a patient in the Customer Management module, Treez checks their purchase limits through the API and displays it in a modal for Intake staff to confirm. However, you can also look-up a customer’s purchase limits in your Metrc portal by following the steps below.
Step 1: Log-in to Metrc, and click the Magnifying Glass icon. Then, select Patient Status Lookup.
Step 2: Type the patient ID number into the ‘Patient’ field, and then click Look Up.
The results will display in the table underneath the search bar, including the purchase allotment and the amount already purchased.
