How This Dashboard Can be Used
This Dashboard can be used to:
- Monitor revenue across multiple stores
- Identify which product category yields the highest profits
- Differentiate repeat purchase behavior vs first-time purchase behavior
NOTE: This dashboard includes clickable Drilldowns (DD), which allow you to see a more detailed view of the metric card. To reveal the drilled down view on an eligible card, simply click the grid cell or graph point as directed. To return to the original metric card view, click the arrow next to the card name.

Metric Cards Explained
Gross Receipts
Shows the total dollar amount collected for the selected date range. On a receipt, this would be the grand total after discounts and taxes.

COGS (Cost of Goods Sold)
Shows the carrying value of goods sold during the selected date range. The COGS shown in this report do not include excise.

Returns
Shows the dollar amount of returned product.

Unique Visitors
Shows the count of all purchasers.

New Customers
Shows the count of 1st-time purchasers.

Gross Margin
Shows the percentage difference between Net Sales and Cost of Goods (without excise) divided by Net Sales.
Think of it as the portion of sales revenue a company retains after accounting for costs associated with the sale. The higher the gross margin percent, the more capital your dispensary retains for the sale.

Discounts
The total cumulative value of discounts applied over the set date range.

Transactions
Shows the number of completed sales.

Avg In-Store Checkout
Shows the average amount of time between the order being created and completed for the selected date range.

Customer Retention Grid
Shows gross receipt generated by various purchasing customer types and by which fulfillment type.
- Repeat Purchase - Shows Gross Receipts total for sales where customers purchase the same item again.
- First Time Customer - Shows Gross Receipts total for sales where the first time the customer completed a purchase.
- First Time Purchase - Shows Gross Receipts total for sales where it was the first time the customer bought a specific product.

Units Sold
Shows both the number of units sold by product type and the percentage it contributes to the total units sold.

Categories and Subtype
Shows various KPIs categorized by product type. Here is an abridged definition of the new KPI introduced here:
- Avg Selling Price - Average Unit Price Before Discounts
By clicking the + icon next to the product type name, you’ll be able to generate the same KPIs but instead, broken down by subtype.

Shows the trend of items per ticket for the last 10 weeks.

Shows gross receipts earned, grouped by customer gender and age group.
