Treez is updating our Support Chat widget to better help our agents serve you, our valued customers and empower you to easily find the information you need. With the new Chat feature, there are some changes to how it looks and functions that you should be aware of.

How to Open the Chat Widget in SellTreez
Step 1: From any page in SellTreez, click the green Need Help? tab on the right side of the page.
Step 2: Type keywords or phrases in the chat box to have the Treez Support bot automatically look up relevant Help Center content which may allow you to self service our answers faster with existing content.
Step 3: Based on your search terms, the Treez Support bot will provide 1 or more relevant articles for your review. Click on the relevant articles to view their content.
TIP: You can click on the icon to open the Help Center article in a new page.
Step 4: Review the content of the article and let us know if that helped answer your question by clicking the Yes button. If it did not answer your question, click the No, I need help button.
TIP: You can return to the main widget window by clicking the icon to search for more content at any time.
Step 5: If you clicked Yes, you are all set! If you clicked No, I need help, you will be prompted to give us a little more information regarding the article you were reviewing. Click 1 of the 2 options; It's related, but it didn't answer my question or It's not related to my question. You will be returned to the main chat widget window to ask another question or Get in touch with us.
TIP: You can also minimize the widget window by clicking the icon at any time.
Step 6: Feel free to continue entering search terms in the main chat widget window and exploring the Help Center or click the Get in touch button near the bottom of the chat widget window.
Step 7: After clicking the Get in touch button, let us know if you would like to chat with us by clicking Live chat or create an email ticket by clicking Leave a message.
How to Open the Chat Widget in AskTreez
Step 1: Navigate to ask.treez.io and login using our AskTreez login
Step 2: Click the green "Help" button in the bottom left corner of the page

Using Live Chat
The Live Chat option is available through the TreezSupport Chat Widget. Selecting this option puts you in queue to speak directly with our Support Team.
Step 1: Select Live chat from the TreezSupport Chat Widget when prompted
Step 2: You will be prompted to fill out the following information:
- Name - Share with us your name.
- When you are logged into SellTreez, this may be automatically filled in for you. If you are not the person who is logged into Treez, you can update this field manually.
- Email - Share with us your email address.
- When you are logged into SellTreez, this may be automatically filled in for you. If you are not the person who is logged into Treez, you can update this field manually.
- It's important that this be a real email address so we can follow up with you over email, when necessary.
- This also helps us identify any other outstanding tickets you may have inked to the email address provided.
- Department - Which department you would like to contact (Optional)
- Questions or Issues - This should be used for all non outage related inquires
- Report an Outage - This should be used only in the event of an outage
NOTE: If you do not select a Department, your Chat will be routed as if you selected the Questions or Issues Department
- Message - Enter as much detail as you can regarding the question or issue you are inquiring about.
- This will be the first message our Support Team will see from you.
- Providing as much detail in your initial message can help speed up resolution to your question or issue.
NOTE: Treez Support cannot see any part of your interaction with the TreezSupport Chat Bot prior to initiating the chat, we will only see the Message you enter above and any chat messages moving forward.
Step 3: Click the Start chat button
Step 4: You will be entered into the Chat queue and the next available agent will be with you as soon as possible.
Step 5: When an agent joins the chat, you will be alerted visibly in the chat window with the agents name and an audible tone will sound through your devices speakers when they send you a message.
Step 6: You can respond to the agent by typing your response in the box at the bottom of the chat window and pressing the Enter key on your keyboard.
TIP: You can send a screenshot to us by clicking the icon in the bottom right of the chat widget.
Step 7: When you are done with the chat, you can leave the chat by clicking the icon in the bottom right corner of the chat window.
