When you have a product that is seasonal or otherwise no longer offered, you may want to discontinue it from your BrandTreez catalog, so retailers no longer see it when linking their SellTreez products to your BrandTreez product. BrandTreez now offers a way for Brands to discontinue a product from their BrandTreez Catalog.
NOTE: You should not reuse existing products when you want to make a new product due to discontinuing a product from your catalog. You should always discontinue the current product and create a new product.
Step 1: Navigate to BrandTreez > Manage Brands
Step 2: Select the Brand which contains the product you would like to discontinue by scrolling through your list of Brands or using the search bar in the upper right of the "Manage Brands" page, then click the Brand name.
Step 3: Select the product you would like to discontinue from your product listing by scrolling through the list of products or using the search bar in the upper right of the products page, then click the icon.
Step 4: In the product card, select "Danger Zone" from the left side menu.
Step 5: Click the "Discontinue" button.
NOTE: Make sure that you are positive you would like to discontinue this product and you no longer will be producing this product. Once the product is discontinued, you will no longer have access to edit it.
TIP: You should not change product details, such as appending or prepending "Discontinued" to the product name, as they were intended for public consumption and will be synced with any SellTreez products currently linked by retailers. A retailer may still have existing inventory of a seasonal or discontinued product they wish to sell
