I need my hardware shipped to me ASAP, what does the time frame look like?
Most hardware purchased ships the same day. Delivery times can vary by location, but Barcodes will inform you of transit times to the best of their ability.
Am I able to return my Barcodes hardware?
You can submit your return request by connecting with Mike Bove at Treez@barcodesinc.com.
What happens if my hardware breaks?
All hardware purchased through Barcodes includes a 3-year support contract. Depending on the hardware, Barcodes also includes a warranty lasting 1-3 years from the date of purchase. If the hardware is not sourced from Barcodes, there are internal replacement/repair options in place.
Does Barcodes offer financing or leasing options?
Yes, there are different options Barcodes has in place when it comes to Leasing and Financing hardware at a lower cost rather than purchasing it outright. Barcodes has solutions in place to provide the hardware you need to run your business for a lower monthly payment.
Will Treez work with hardware that is not displayed on the Barcodes website?
Treez software operates best with all/most Windows 10 devices. We first recommend you always check out our approved hardware page to confirm compatibility. If you already have a Windows device that is not listed on our recommended hardware page and you have questions, please feel free to reach out to us at support@treez.io and we will be happy to guide you.
I already have the hardware I need, will Barcodes support it?
Absolutely! Barcodes offers a phenomenal yearly subscription for unlimited remote IT support services.
Will Barcodes set up my printers and devices?
Yes, Barcodes will help you set up and install any purchased printers and devices. If you purchase Barcodes annual unlimited IT Support subscription, they will also help you maintain and troubleshoot your hardware long term, even if your Hardware is not sourced from Barcodes.
When is Barcodes support available?
For Treez and Barcode customers, support is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST. You can reach Barcodes Support at (877) 684-6532 or treezsupport@barcodesinc.com.
Will Barcodes come onsite to install or support my hardware?
Not typically. Barcodes installs and supports your hardware remotely using Teamviewer. If they do agree to come onsite there is an additional charge.
How does Barcodes install my hardware and support me remotely?
Barcodes IT Support Services will help you schedule a call with a Support Rep. From there they use a tool called Teamviewer to remotely access your computer. Once you are able to install Teamviewer on your computer they can then help guide you through the Hardware setup process.
If you have Barcodes annual Support Subscription, this software makes it much easier to troubleshoot any issues that may occur in the future. Barcodes Support can also help you through Email and Phone communications alongside Teamviewer.
If I have my own IT person, will I still need to use Barcodes for hardware support?
Although you may have your own IT person, we still recommend Barcodes for hardware support as they are the #1 expert at setting up and supporting hardware with Treez.
Barcodes offers a yearly unlimited Remote IT Support for only $420 per year ($35 per month).
How do I know when I should reach out to Barcodes or Treez support to answer my hardware questions?
Barcodes is the first point of contact for all Hardware related issues. Treez Support is available to help with any and all items related to Treez Software.
Barcodes is available to troubleshoot Treez hardware and includes label & receipt printer issues, scanner problems or even printers not connecting/printing from Treez.
Treez Software items related to hardware, can also assist in software items such as Label Editor & Receipts info.
Will Treez stop answering my hardware questions?
Treez will continue to provide support through our Help Center articles related to hardware. In order to have the best experience using Treez, we need our Software Experts (Treez Support team) to be focused on Treez software.
Barcodes has greater expertise on hardware, and we want you to have the best hardware resources that are trained with Treez specifically.
- Therefore, once we determine it's not a Treez software issue, we will encourage you to reach out to Barcodes support.
What should I do if I don’t know what hardware packages to order?

I want to be up and running ASAP, how long does it take Barcodes to install my hardware?
This depends on a variety of different factors:
- How many terminals are you setting up?
- How many printers are you ordering?
- How quickly are you able to submit an order?
- Is your internet stable enough to join a remote IT Support call?
- Do you have the right POCs in place to work with Barcodes Support?
- Are there any environmental blockers that could impact Installation? (COVID?, Snow Storms?, Holidays?, Dispensary Staff Bandwidth?)
