Customer Overview Dashboard - What's Changed
We are announcing a few adjustments on how we define and count visitors across AskTreez embed analytics. In this article, you will find the latest definition of a one-time visitor and returning visitor, through the lens of data analytics.

First Time Visitor Card
The One Time Customers Card is now named First Time Visitor Card. For example, if Winston’s signup-date equals his latest-visit timestamp, we count Winston as First Time Visitor.
Note: Third Party, Treez Ecom, integration partener, delivery orders are currently not captured in this aggregation consistently.
Note: For customer_uuid with the signup date = 2000-01-01, it indicates that this uuid was imported / migrated from a third-party. This could exist in both the ticketline table, and the customer table.
Returning Visitors Card
The Returning Customers Card is now named Returning Visitors Card. For example, when Henry’s signup-date does NOT equal his latest-visit timestamp, we count Henry as a Returning Visitor.

What does this mean?
All analytics aggregated in Customer Overview are drawn from customer-oriented data, which is to say, as long as this individual checks into the dispensary, we are able to capture their data, regardless of their purchase's status.
Given the nature of the data source, all customer KPIs on Retail Manager are “visitor”-centric.
Example on Applications
Visitor count is a great measure of the storefront foot traffic. You can use the first-time visitor card to get an idea of how many potential customers are visiting your store for the first time and use the customer resource cards in the bottom section to see how the first-time visitors knew about your store.
To bring the insights to the next level, you can also refer back to the retail manager dashboard that we mentioned before, and to see how many first-time customers made purchases on their first visit as this is an indicator of how engaged the visitors are on their first visit, and from a store perspective, how to improve the sales to the first-time visitors.
