Customize the availability of cash, ACH, and debit payments for pickup and delivery orders through Treez Ecommerce

Overview

With Treez Ecommerce, you are able to offer online shoppers multiple ways to pay, including by debit card for pickup orders and by ACH or cash for all order types, including pickup and delivery.

Customizing Payment Method Availability

You can choose which payment method(s) show at checkout depending on whether the customer is ordering for pickup or delivery.

How to Edit Available Payment Methods by Order Type

  1. Navigate to Checkout settings in Treez Ecommerce Admin (Settings β†’ Checkout)

  2. Scroll down to the Payment Settings section and find the payment type you wish to edit (i.e. cash, ACH, or debit)

  3. Under the Actions column, click the "..." icon for that payment type, then click Update to edit

  4. Scroll down to the Update Payments section to edit. Configure the reservation mode (aka order type), payment type, and applicable store(s) as desired, then click Save to save your changes

  5. Click Update in the upper right corner to save all Checkout settings changes

  6. Using the Store Status dropdown menu, click Purge Cache to refresh your site and ensure your new payment settings are visible

How to Delete an Existing Payment Method Order Type Configuration

  1. Navigate to Checkout settings in Treez Ecommerce Admin (Settings β†’ Checkout)

  2. Scroll down to the Payment Settings section and find the payment type by reservation mode you wish to delete

  3. Under the Actions column, click the "..." icon for that payment type, then click Delete

  4. In the popup modal that appears, click Confirm

  5. Click Save to save your changes

  6. Click Update in the upper right corner to save all Checkout settings changes

  7. Using the Store Status dropdown menu, click Purge Cache to refresh your site and ensure your new payment settings are visible

Adding New Payment Options

If you have recently made changes to your available payment methods or to the stores using Treez Ecommerce, you will need to verify that your payment options are configured correctly in Treez Ecomm Admin. This may include adding a new payment type<>order type configuration.

How to Add a New Payment Method by Order Type

  1. Navigate to Checkout settings in Treez Ecommerce Admin (Settings β†’ Checkout)

  2. Scroll down to the Payment Settings section and click Add Item β†’ Payment

  3. Find the new Add Payments section that has opened and configure the reservation mode (pickup, delivery, or all) and payment type (ACH, debit, or cash) as desired, then select which store(s) this new configuration should apply to

  4. Click Save to save your changes

  5. Click Update in the upper right corner to save all Checkout settings changes

  6. Using the Store Status dropdown menu, click Purge Cache to refresh your site and ensure your new payment settings are visible
