Follow the instructions below to create a BOGO (Buy One Get One) automated discount in Treez.
Creating a BOGO Discount
Navigate to the Discounts module from the left-hand sidebar.
By default, you’ll land on the Automated Discounts page.
Click the green Add Discount button in the top-right corner.
Enter a Title for your discount.
(Optional) Add a "Display Title" for your discount, so it appears on Receipts in a desired way.
Select Buy One Get One as the Discount Method.
(Optional) Enable the Stackable Discount checkbox if this discount should be combined with other stackable discounts.
(Optional) Upload a discount image that will appear in the POS and on customer-facing displays.
Click Next to continue.
Configure BOGO Details
In the Set Customer Buy Count section, enter how many items a customer must purchase to qualify for the discount.
Under Select Products to Activate the Discount, choose the product collections that will trigger the discount when purchased.
In the Discount Method and Items to Get section:
Choose the type of discount:
Percentage Off
Dollar Off
Price at Value
Enter the discount amount and the number of products that will be discounted.
Under Select Products to Apply the Discount, choose which product collections the discount will be applied to.
These can be the same collections used to trigger the discount or different ones.
Click Next to continue.
Complete the remaining steps of discount setup, including selecting the stores where the discount should be available, setting an optional schedule, and applying any desired conditions such as customer group, fulfillment type, or purchase minimum.
Once everything is set, click Finish to save and activate your BOGO discount.

Controlling the BOGO Discount Calculation
To only apply the discount to the GET item(s)? Select the 'Apply BOGO discount only to the products defined as the GET' option. (Nav Menu > Configuration > Config Page > Discounts And Rewards > Discounts) This will result in only the GET item receiving the discount. The BUY item will remain at full price.
Alternatively, to have the discount applied evenly across all eligible products, select the 'Spread BOGO discount across all qualifying products.' This setting will proportionally spread the discount across both the BUY and GET items. (Nav Menu > Configuration > Config Page > Discounts And Rewards > Discounts)
