Welcome to the Automated Discounts section of the Central Discounts module in Treez. This powerful tool allows you to create dynamic, rule-based promotions that automatically apply at the register with no manual input required. Follow the sections below to get started.

Create an Automated Discount
Navigate to the Discounts module from your Treez Dashboard.
By default, the Automated Discounts page will appear.
Click the green Add Discount button in the top-right corner.
Follow the prompts to:
Name the Discount and optionally upload an image.
Choose if the discount is stackable (can be combined with other stackable discounts).
Select a Discount Method:
Dollar Amount
Percentage Off
Cost Plus % Markup
Buy One Get One (BOGO)
Bundle
Click Next and complete the following steps:
Select Product Collections the discount will apply to. You can search existing collections or create a new one.
Select Stores where the discount will be available.
Set a Schedule (optional). If no schedule is set, the discount will activate upon saving.
Set Conditions to refine eligibility (see list below).
Finish by clicking Finish to activate the discount.
Available Discount Conditions
Use one or more of the following to tailor your discount behavior:
Customer Cap – Limit how many customers can use it.
Customer Event – Apply based on birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
Customer Group – Limit to groups like Veterans, Seniors, etc.
Customer Type – Medical vs Adult-Use restrictions.
Fulfillment Type – Specify for Pickup, Delivery, etc.
Item Limit – Cap how many items per transaction get discounted.
Purchase Minimum – Require a minimum cart total.
Package Age – Discount packages based on age in inventory.
Create a BOGO Discount
To create a Buy One Get One (BOGO) promotion:
Click Add Discount, then select the Buy One Get One method.
Configure your BOGO setup:
Buy Count – How many products must be purchased to trigger the discount.
Trigger Products – Which products activate the discount.
Discount Type & Amount – Choose percent, dollar, or set price for the discounted item(s).
Apply To Products – Select which products receive the discount.
Continue through store selection, scheduling, and conditions as needed. Click Finish to save.
Create a Bundle Discount
Bundle discounts offer deals when customers purchase certain combinations of products.
Click Add Discount and select the Bundle method.
Define your bundle logic:
Discount Type – Choose percent off, dollars off, or set price.
Requirement – Set the minimum quantity or total value needed to trigger the discount.
Product Collections – Choose which products the requirement applies to.
Complete the remaining steps (stores, schedule, conditions), then click Finish to activate.
Schedule a Discount
You can optionally schedule automated discounts for specific dates and times.
To schedule:
Find your discount on the Automated Discounts page.
Click the three vertical dots > Edit.
In the left menu, click Schedule Discount, then toggle on Add Schedule.
Set:
Start Date/Time
(Optional) End Date/Time or enable Spans Multiple Days
Recurrence Options – Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Custom
When complete, click Done Editing, then Confirm to save the schedule.
Deactivate or Reactivate a Discount
To deactivate:
From the Automated Discounts page, click the three vertical dots next to a discount.
Select Deactivate, then click Confirm.
To deactivate for specific stores only:
Click the three vertical dots > Edit.
Select the Select Stores tab.
Uncheck the store(s) you want to exclude.
Click Done Editing, then Confirm.
To reactivate a discount, follow the same steps and select Activate.
