Pre-Paid User Attribution

This release improves user attribution for prepaid eCommerce and external API orders completed in SellTreez. Historically, these tickets defaulted to an unassigned user (“default”), which created challenges for reporting and tip payouts.

With this update:

  • POS Completion Assigns User: When user = "default", editing and completing a pre-paid ticket from POS now auto-assigns the currently pinned-in user as cashier and allocates the sale to that user's shift and drawer.

  • Optional Reassignment Flow: If a ticket already has an assigned user && complete from POS, the user will be prompted whether to retain the original user or reassign to themselves (the completion person).

  • Fulfillment Completion Behavior: Completing tickets directly in Fulfillment (without opening in POS) will now log the currently authenticated user vs. remaining as default. The logged in user will reflect as the cashier in Treez Payment reports and TreezPay Portal, but since this was not completed in POS it will NOT be assigned a shift or drawer (preservers existing "no shift total behavior).

  • TreezPay Portal Alignment: These user attributions are now consistently reflected in TreezPay tip reports and SellTreez cashier/payment reports.
