Important Reminders Before Starting:
Preparation: Do not select the Integrated Payments button until a customer has their card out and ready to scan. Informing the customer of this necessity is crucial, as terminals may time out for security purposes usually within 120 seconds.
Steps to Complete a Transaction:
Initiate the Transaction:
Click the "Integrated Payments" button to start the transaction.
Customer Action:
Instruct the customer swipe their card, as not all networks support "tap," which can lead to a higher failure rate.
Handling Timeout Situations:
If a terminal timeout occurs or there is an interruption, you can use the "Verify Sale" button to check the status of the transaction.
Click "Verify Status," then select "Check Status."
Finalizing the Sale:
A verified sale will take you to the receipt page, showing the tender and providing an option to print the receipt.
Note: You must have already initiated a payment on your terminal with the "Integrated Payment" Button in order for the "Verify Sale" workflow to work as intended. DO NOT SELECT THE 'VERIFY SALE' BUTTON MORE THAN ONCE.

This new feature eliminates the need to manually process the transaction as “cash” and then adjust it in the POS Ticket Adjustment to avoid double charging the clients.
