Who are the Owner/Admins for my company?

Your company may have both individuals and business entities as shareholders. Please give us information about shareholders who own 10% or more of your company's shares. We refer to these persons/entities as OWNERS.

There may also be individuals who play a significant role in financial matters. These could include people who can sign documents on behalf of the company, your CFO and CEO, etc. We refer to these persons/entities as ADMINs.

Please Note: Owners can be business entities or individuals. Admins can only be individuals.

Who is considered an "individual" in this context? What is a business?

An individual is anyone who has 10% or more of your company (Owner) or an employee who is authorized to act on behalf of your company concerning financial matters (Admin).

A business is any entity that owns shares in your company, such as a parent company. (Owner)

How can I add the required information for individuals and business entities as owners/admin?

You can add the required information by clicking on the respective options: "Add an individual" or "Add a business entity." This will then lead you to a form where you can provide the necessary details.

How do I know if I've completed adding all the required information for owners and admins?

If you've filled in all the necessary details, you should check the status displayed against each person and entity added. If it changes from "Incomplete details" to "Completed," you have likely provided all the required information. See the screenshot below for reference.

What should I do if the status remains "Incomplete details" even after I've added all the required information?

If you think you have added all relevant information and the status doesn't change to "Completed," you may need to refresh the page and check again. If the issue persists, please contact customer support for assistance.

What if no individual or entity holds a 10% or greater share in my company?

If your company has no individual or entity that holds a 10% or greater share, you should reach out to customer support for further guidance or clarification.

Can I add multiple individuals in a single submission, or do I need to repeat this step for each one?

You will need to repeat this step for each individual you want to add. There is no limit to the number of individuals you can add in this process.

I’ve added an individual in error, can I delete the entry?

Yes, you can. Simply click on the ‘X’ to the right of the entry that you want to delete. See screenshot below for reference.

Adding an Individual

When adding an individual as either an OWNER or an ADMIN, you will need to provide the following information across two pages. Each page is highlighted as Page 1/2 and Page 2/2.

On the first page, you will be asked for the following information:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Date of Birth

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number

  • Current Residential Address

  • City

  • State

  • How long they’ve been residing at this address

On the second page, you will be asked for the following information:

  • Role in company

  • Ownership percentage

  • Whether the individual is a personal guarantor?

  • Whether the individual is an authorized signatory?

  • SSN (Social Security Number)

  • Driver's License ID (or relevant identification) upload

  • The SSN and Driver's License are often requested to verify the individual's identity and to comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. They help ensure that the information provided is accurate and can be cross-referenced with official records. Please upload valid and current versions of your documents.

Once you have added all the information, please click on “Add Owner”. Once you do so, you should be able to see their name added on the earlier page as an owner/admin.

Adding a Business

When adding a business entity as either OWNER, you will need to provide the following information.

On this page, you will be asked for the following information:

  • Legal Name

  • Type of Business

  • Legal Structure of Business

  • Ownership percentage

  • Details of an officer of the company (typically CEO, CFO, Head of Retail etc, who can give us some additional information).

Once you have added all the information, please click on “Submit”. Once you do so, you should be able to see their name added on the earlier page as an owner.

The entry for this business will remain “Incomplete” until the officer of the business fills in the required information. They can do so by copying the link and opening it and filling in the information. See screenshot below for reference.

If you wish to fill this in later, you can click on Next and move back to the main form.

Filling in the Ownership Details Form for a Business Owner

When adding an external officer’s information to a business entity you will need to: Copy the link given for the business and paste in into your web browser. You will see on the below form, where you will be asked for the following information.

Once you have completed filling in the information, please click on the Submit button.

Now, when you go back to the main form, you should see this business marked as “Completed”.

If you don’t see the “Completed” tag, you may need to refresh the page and check again. If the issue persists, please contact customer support for assistance.
