How do I delete a saved sale in the POS?
Answer:
If you have a saved sale that's no longer going to be processed, you can delete it by following these steps:
From the POS sales screen, click the Current Sale tile and click View Saved Sales.
Find the order you'd like to delete from the 'Saved Sales' list.
Select the order
Click Edit
From the Current Sale dropdown, select Abandon Sale or you can simply click on the garbage can icon
This order has now been removed and the inventory has been released back into live inventory.
NOTE: Saved Sales reserve the items in the order indefinitely and make them unavailable for other customers. For this reason, it's important to clear Saved Sales nightly to avoid inventory from being accidentally held.
