Alert banners notify users of important information, updates, or warnings on websites or apps. They are typically displayed at the top of the site, with distinct colors and bold text to ensure visibility. Examples include error alerts, maintenance notifications, update announcements, promotions and success messages.

How to edit the “Alert Banner” for Treez Ecommerce:

  1. Filter by the “Alert Banner” custom type

2. Click on “Alert Banner”

Next, edit the fields to match your requirements.

  1. Change the banner text

2. Add the stores where the promotions are available

2. Add other relevant information, such as the days when the banner is active, if it’s dismissible, and publication date

3. Save and publish the changes

4. Check that the changes reflect on your live site

Effective alert banners are clear and concise, delivering the message without unnecessary details. They are essential tools for communicating relevant information.

Implementing alert banners offers significant advantages in terms of flexibility. You can make sure that your users receive the correct information at all times and even automate the process so that the banners only show on specific dates to match your store requirements.
