Make your in-store deals available for online shoppers with no extra effort. Treez Ecommerce gives you multiple ways to showcase current promotions and sale items with minimal effort.
Pages & Modules
These features come standard with your Treez Ecommerce website and can be customized using our integrated content management system (CMS), Prismic:
Promo Carousel module: Displays a scrollable view of current promotions, updated automatically based on your SellTreez POS discounts — Check out the "Today's Deals" promo carousel example here
Promotions page: Automatically displays all the same promotions shown in your Promo Carousel, in grid view on a standalone page (default URL: /promotions) — Example Promotions page
Deals page: Shows a filterable grid view of all the discounted products available for purchase (default URL: /deals) — Example Deals page
Promo Carousel module
The Promo Carousel is a module used to display all current active promotions. You’ll see this module appear by default in our standard homepage layout, and you can plug the same module in anywhere you want to highlight your current deals.
No matter where you use Promo Carousels on your website, they can be configured to automatically populate with the deals you currently have active and available in SellTreez — no additional effort required.
When you have more deals active in your Promo Carousel than what can be displayed on a shopper’s screen without scrolling, your Treez Ecommerce site will automatically display a link to the Promotions page in the upper right corner of the carousel, as shown below:
Promotions page
The Promotions page displays all the promo cards from your Promo Carousel in a simple grid view. This page allows shoppers to easily see all available deals at once. Best of all, it’s created and updated automatically, so you don’t have to do anything to keep it up to date. Shoppers access this page through the automated link in the upper right corner of your Promo Carousel — otherwise, feel free to add links to this page in your main navigation menu, footer, or anywhere else you want to highlight your current deals!
Deals page
The Deals page displays all of your discounted products in a filterable grid view, so shoppers can see all the products you have on sale at once, regardless of why they're discounted.
Pro tip: Include a Promo Carousel on your Deals page, as shown in the example above, to further highlight the deals that are currently available.
Discount Types
All the same automatic discount types you set up in SellTreez POS are available in Treez Ecommerce:
BOGO: Bundles to buy one or more product(s) and get one for a set value, e.g. $1, $0.01, or free ($0)
Dollar Amount: A set dollar amount off select products
Percent: A set percentage off select products
Cost-Plus: Replacing the retail price with a new price at a set percentage more than the wholesale cost for the product
It's easy for shoppers to see which products are discounted or part of a BOGO deal on any page, thanks to product card callouts. Callouts for product-specific savings and BOGO inclusion will automatically appear on each relevant product card, as shown below:
Promo Items
Have heavily discounted promo items on hand that you only want sold as part of a BOGO deal? Easily set a price threshold in your Treez Ecommerce admin panel to hide them from your online menu.
As in the example shown below, setting a promo price threshold of $1.01 will hide any inventory priced at $1 or less from your menu, unless a shopper has already unlocked the associated BOGO deal:
Alert Banners
You can also highlight specific deals in Alert Banners. These banners are shown at the top of every page of your site, either globally or for a specified location.
Consider calling out daily specials in the Alert Banner, as seen in this example:
