TreezPay Troubleshooting Guide

This article will help to walk to you some of the trouble-shooting steps that you can take in various scenarios.

The Charge Integrated Payment button is grayed out or not clickable.

Check the payment device "card reader"

  1. Is the payment device fully charged?

    • The payment device should have a direct power source (wall or power strip, not piggybacking off of the computer) if the payment device is plugged into the computer it will not charge fully, and the battery will degrade and stop working.

  2. Is the payment device connected to the internet?

    • How is the internet's strength?

    • Is the payment device connected via WiFi or hardwired with Ethernet?

      • A hardwired Ethernet connection produces the best results.

    • Does your WiFi network have a firewall, make sure the payment devices are allowed by your IT Administrator to join the network.

  3. Is the payment device up to date with the latest version of the software?

    • Have you run an update recently?

      • *Need software download procedure for each payment device type

  4. Is the payment device logged into the “Payment App” and ready to accept transactions?

    • Payomi = “Customer Pay”

    • Ellacash = “G2”

    • Skylight/Paybotic/Regala = “Aura”

    • LeisurePay =?

Check your permissions

  1. Does the user have the needed TreezPay Platform permissions?

  2. Does the user have the needed TreezPay permissions?

Check your TreezPay Gateway "settings"

  1. Is the payment provider “Set to Default” in the TreezPay Portal?

  2. Is the payment device associated with a POS Location?

  3. Is the payment device testing “Online” in the TreezPay Portal?

  4. Are there leading or trailing spaces in the payment device credential fields?

Check your SellTreez

  1. Is the payment type enabled within the Point of Sale configuration?

    • Integrated ATM = Ellacash, Payomi, Skylight

    • Integrated Debit = Regala

    • Integrated Credit = LeisurPay

  2. Have you refreshed Treez?

  3. Is the correct payment provider selected on the checkout screen dropdown?

  4. Is the correct hardware location selected at your current POS?
