Treez Pay: Troubleshooting Integrated Payments in Treez

If you encounter an issue where the "Charge Integrated Payment" button is not clickable on the checkout screen in Treez, follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the problem.

Step 1: Log In and Add Items to the Cart

  1. Open the Treez POS and log in with your credentials.

  2. Select a customer and add items to the cart.

  3. Proceed to the checkout screen.

Step 2: Check for Missing Permissions

If the "Charge Integrated Payment" button is grayed out and you see a warning message indicating that the user is missing required permissions, follow the next steps:

  1. Navigate to Organization Settings:

    • Go to Organization Settings within the Treez interface.

    • Click on Role Management.

  2. Review User Roles:

    • Check the roles assigned to the user currently logged in. By default, the necessary permissions are set for standard roles, but custom roles may not have these permissions configured.

  3. Edit Permissions:

    • Locate the user role in question, and click on the three vertical dots next to it.

    • Select Edit Permissions.

  4. Assign Necessary Permissions:

    • Ensure the following permissions are checked for Treez Pay:

      • Create Invoice

      • Create Payment

      • Create Refund

      • Create Entity Config

      • Read Payment

      • Read Payment Device Location

      • Cancel Payments

  5. Save Changes:

    • Click Finish after updating the permissions.

Step 3: Log Out and Log Back In

To ensure that the updated permissions take effect, you may need to log out of the Treez POS and log back in.

Step 4: Retry the Transaction

  1. Return to the Treez POS after logging back in.

  2. Repeat the process of selecting a customer and adding items to the cart.

  3. Proceed to checkout.

Expected Outcome:

After completing these steps, the warning message should no longer appear, and the "Charge Integrated Payment" button will be clickable, allowing you to start the transaction.
