Custom Delivery Fees with Third-Party Integrations

This article explains how to enable custom delivery fees from third-party integrators into Treez.

Overview

If you use a third-party delivery platform that calculates and sends its own delivery fees (such as Weedmaps, Jane, or Dutchie), Treez can accept and display those fees in your checkout process. This feature is not enabled by default.


How It Works

  • The third-party integrator sends delivery fee data directly to Treez.

  • Treez displays the fee in your customer’s checkout and includes it in the order total.

  • You maintain full visibility of the fee in your reporting.


Enabling Custom Delivery Fees

Custom delivery fees from third-party integrators must be enabled by Treez Support.

To enable:

  1. Contact Treez Support via Chat or [email protected] and request to have Custom Delivery Fees enabled for your location.

  2. Provide:

    • Your Treez Store URL

    • Location(s) where the feature should be active

  3. Support will confirm once the feature is enabled and ready for use.


Things to Note:

  • This feature applies only when your integrator supports sending delivery fees to Treez.

  • Standard delivery fee settings in Treez will be overridden by the fees provided by the integrator.
