How to Enable and Configure Alpine IQ Integration with Treez

Set up and enable the Alpine IQ integration in Treez to sync customer data and loyalty rewards.

Alpine IQ integrates seamlessly with Treez POS to provide advanced customer loyalty, reward redemption, and data synchronization features. This article explains how to enable, configure, and manage the Alpine IQ integration in your Treez environment.

Overview

The Alpine IQ + Treez integration is a two-way sync that allows you to:

  • Import transactions, product info, and customer records into Alpine IQ.

  • Sync loyalty balances, rewards, and redemptions between both systems.

  • Enhance customer engagement by connecting in-store and online loyalty programs.

Important: While Treez supports two-way syncing, Alpine IQ loyalty points cannot be updated directly from Treez.

Step 1 — Request API Credentials

Before you begin, contact Treez Support to request API credentials for Alpine IQ.

  • Include the following details:

    • Dispensary Name (as it appears in your Treez URL, e.g., mydispensary.treez.io)

    • Your authorization to enable third-party integrations.

Treez will generate and share an API Key that will be used during setup.

Step 2 — Enable Alpine IQ in Treez Configurations

  1. Navigate to:
    SellTreez Configuration → Config Page → Integration → Loyalty Integrations.

  2. From the dropdown, select “Alpine IQ.”

  3. Enter the required credentials:

    • Alpine IQ User ID

    • Alpine IQ API Key

    • Alpine IQ Org/Store ID (found in your Alpine IQ account portal)

4. Toggle “Alpine IQ Integration Enabled” to ON.

5. Click Save to confirm.

Step 3 — Configure Credentials in Alpine IQ Integrations

Once Alpine IQ is enabled, configure your integration credentials:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Treez.

  2. Click Connect.

  3. Enter:

    • Dispensary Name (must match your Treez URL minus the .treez.io)

    • API Key (provided by Treez Support)

    • Regions (optional for multi-location setups)

  4. Click Add Credential.

Tip: For multiple locations, repeat this process for each store to ensure accurate data mapping.

Step 4 — Map Stores to Integration Credentials

To ensure proper data syncing between Treez and Alpine IQ, map your stores to the correct integration credentials:

  1. Go to Settings → Company Account → Retail Store.

  2. Click Edit on the desired store.

  3. Under Store Mappings, click the Treez symbol.

  4. Select the matching credential from the dropdown.

  5. Click Save Settings.

Repeat this step for each store.

Step 5 — Verify Integration and Data Sync

After completing setup:

  • Check the Personas page in Alpine IQ to confirm that Treez is listed as a data source.

  • Allow up to 24 hours for customer, transaction, and product data to fully sync.

  • Verify that customer loyalty balances and available rewards appear correctly in Alpine IQ.

Step 6 — Using Loyalty Features in Treez POS

If your integration is at Tier 6 (enhanced), you’ll gain access to two-way loyalty features:

A. Link Existing Customers

  1. Open the customer profile in Treez POS.

  2. If the customer exists in Alpine IQ, you’ll see a prompt:

    “Customer with {phone} and {email} has AIQ loyalty account. Link to Treez?”

  3. Click OK to link the account.

B. Sign Up New Customers

  1. In Customer Management, enable the Alpine IQ Loyalty toggle.

  2. A membership agreement will appear.

  3. Once the customer signs and consents, they are automatically enrolled in Alpine IQ loyalty.

  4. A one-time SMS is sent to confirm communication preferences.

C. Redeem Rewards at POS

  1. Add the customer to the cart.

  2. Click Redeem AIQ Rewards.

  3. In the Alpine IQ wallet modal, view available points and rewards.

  4. Select rewards and click Apply.

  5. Click Apply AIQ Rewards to confirm redemption.

  6. Continue checkout as usual.

Step 7 — Best Practices

  • Always ensure your Dispensary Name and Org/Store ID match exactly across both systems.

  • Regularly verify data accuracy in Alpine IQ after setup.

  • Review available rewards and discount configurations to avoid mismatches at checkout.
