How do I intake pure CBD products?
Answer: Currently, to add pure CBD products that do not have excise or cannabis tax applied to them, we recommend inputting the product in the "Merch" category when creating a purchase order for it.
Step 1: Select Inventory > Purchasing, Add Manual (not Import from Metrc) fill in the required information and tap Done.
Step 2: Choose Merch as the product category and fill out the product card completely.
NOTE: Before making any changes to how your shop taxes certain items, be sure to brush up on your local tax regulations. Treez will not be held liable for tax discrepancies caused by incorrectly categorized products.
We are currently working to incorporate a CBD-specific product category for our menus in our future road map.
