Written by Treez Support

Take the terminal out of SEMI-integrated Mode if you're using integration:

If your terminal is in SEMI mode, you will need to put the terminal in standalone.

• On the Move 5000, you can click "SEMI" on the bottom left corner of the screen and then switch to standalone (S/A) when prompted.

• On the Desk 3500, press the hyphen/dash key (-) to the left of the up arrow key and switch to standalone (S/A) when prompted.

Batch the Terminal

• Press 2 for "Host Totals"

• Press 1 for "Reset Host Totals"

Software Download *MAKE SURE YOU BATCH FIRST - STEPS ABOVE ^

1. To perform a software download, press the Menu Button (silver button with a dot)

2. Select Admin Mode from the list

3. Enter Admin password 123456A (press number 2 five times to get uppercase “A”)

4. Scroll down and select Tetra Admin

5. Select Option 1 Download Application

6. Select Option 1 Configure Download

7. Press the green button on “Network Type” and choose the network type being used by the terminal (ex:/WIFI), then press the green button. If you are using Wi-Fi, choose "WIFI"; if you are using Ethernet, you should choose "Ethernet", and if you are using a 4G SIM CARD, you should use GPRS".

8. Ensure that the TMS Address is set to: temterminalsnar02.icloud.ingenico.com (please make

sure the URL has 02 and not 03 in it)

9. Confirm that the Port is set to "7002" and the SSL Profile is set to "NO SSL".

10. Press the yellow button to return to the Admin menu.

11. Select Option 2 for Start Download

12. The terminal will automatically reboot and print out a “parameter succeeded” message once the download is complete. If you do not see the terminal reboot and print out the receipt, the download did not go through, and you should complete the steps again. Make sure the network type, TMS address, port, and SSL profile are set correctly (steps 7, 8, 9).

13. If you are using SEMI-integration, the terminal needs to be in SEMI mode in the bottom left corner before transacting again. If you see S/A in the bottom left corner of the terminal, use the steps at the top of the page to toggle back to SEMI mode.

Troubleshooting

If you get UPGRADE FORBIDDEN, it means you did not settle the batch. Please go back to the main homescreen and press 2 and then 1 to reset the host totals. Then try the download again.

If you get any other error code, try rebooting the device by holding down the yellow key and # key. Then try running through the download steps again, but on step 9, try changing both the port to "7004" and the SSL Profile to "INGETRUST" (they must both be set). Then try running the download again.
