Connect Your Stores Under One Brand for Stronger Local Search

Set Parent Organization ID for Treez Ecommerce

Written by Treez Support

What is Parent Organization ID?

Parent Organization ID is a new field in your store schema that links all your dispensary locations to a single parent brand. It tells Google (and other search engines) that your stores aren't random, disconnected businesses — they're all part of the same organization.

Why this matters

If you operate multiple locations, Google currently treats each store as a standalone entity. There's no signal connecting them to your brand. That causes three problems:

  • Diluted brand authority — Google can't consolidate signals across your locations, so none of your stores gets the full ranking power your brand has earned.

  • Weaker local SEO — Individual stores compete in isolation rather than benefiting from the collective reputation of your entire organization.

  • Missed cross-store discovery — A customer searching for your brand finds one store but isn't surfaced your other nearby locations, even when Google could recommend them.

By linking every store to a parent organization, Google understands your locations as one connected brand. This consolidates brand signals across all stores, strengthens how each individual location ranks in local search, and makes it easier for customers to discover your other doors.

How to configure it

  1. Log in to your Treez Ecommerce Dashboard.

  2. Go to Settings → General → Account Info Header → Organization Name.

  3. Enter your Organization Name.

  4. Click Update.

  5. Purge Cache & Publish your changes.

Note: The publish step is required — it's what adds the parent organization name to your local business schema, which is what Google actually reads.
