Please note: You can't import a previously imported package tag; they must be unique in METRC enabled states.

How can I import a package tag that has been previously imported into to Treez? I had to return a package to a vendor (distributor) after it was already accepted into Treez. The distributor fixed this issue with the package and manifested the same package tag back to our store.

In METRC enabled states, package tags received in Treez MUST be unique. As a safety precaution, a previously imported package tag cannot be imported again. When a distributor manifests a package to your retail license, it must be assigned a new METRC package tag if that package has been previously imported into Treez. Ideally, the distributor would assign the package a new tag, however, retailers may be able to reassign the package a new retail package tag from their license if this is compliant in their jurisdiction. Please check with METRC and the appropriate regulating authority in your jurisdiction.
