Please Note: This article pertains to Retail Analytics dashboards functionality in the Latest Version of Treez.

The Retail Analytics Inventory Performance dashboard give you an overview of your inventory health. The data in this dashboard can help you identify items that are stranded and need attention, products that need to be moved to a sellable location, and reorder guidance.

Log into the Latest Version of Treez and navigate to Dashboard > RA> Sales> Product & Inventory> Inventory Performance:

Inventory Performance enables you to view your product quantity on hand and also allows you to drill down based on Product Type, Sub Type, Classification, or by Brand. It also shows you the distinct SKUs carried and Total & Sellable Units Left.

Sellable Velocity is a bar graph for the fastest moving top 20 products.

The percent of a product’s cost of velocity in the selected range over the total product cost can also be viewed. When sliding the maximum units per day to a relatively small number, which means the products only sell a few units per day, this percentage number can suggest inventory costs that are tied up on slower-moving products.

Inventory Analysis for the Trailing X days

Inventory Analysis is a tool for planning your reorder, understanding turnover rate, and stock-to-sale ratio. You will see that your inventory metrics update as you choose a different Inventory Period on the left; and can also compare how your inventory performs to the rest of 500+ Treez customers.

As you get ready for replenishment, you can set the table with all products, or exclude products without activity, include or exclude the sample inventory, and/or focus on the products available in stock but not on the sales floor. Use the filter to select the distributor and sizes, as well as the reorder period.

Once you have curated your desired view, you can export this data to CSV or Excel via the kebab menu (the three dots menu) at the top right corner. With a local copy of this spreadsheet, you can make final edits to the suggested reorder amount or add seasonal or new items you want to try.

Current Inventory

This section helps you track the products in your current inventory, and its batch origins.

Starting with a standard view like below, you can click onto the product names to see the original batches these products came from.

Low Stock Products

Use this section to find out the products that need to be moved to sellable location ASAP with the Filter on Available Unit option or locate the products that need to be reordered with the number of days remaining close to or less than the reorder lead time.

The example below shows all products with 20 units or less left in the Units Remaining tab. You can quickly identify products that are still available but not in sellable locations so that you can take action. You can also identify a list of products that are completely out-of-stock in this store location.

Stranded Stock

This section is used to identify products that have been stranded in your stock for too long. With this information you may choose to plan a discount strategy, a promotion strategy or adjust your next order accordingly.

This table is filterable via Inventory Age, or Sellable Age. You have the option to include or exclude merchandise items as well.
