When a producer or manufacturer creates a new Inventory item in BioTrack, they must provide BioTrack with an Inventory Type, Quantity and Strain. According to BioTrack Support, Infused Prerolls and Infused Flower should ALWAYS be created as:

  • Type 32 (Marijunana Mix Infused (mixed concentrate)

    • This type is intended for Infused Prerolls and Flower.

    • This type applies to the Concentrate Allotment

It has been observed that sometimes Infused Prerolls and infused flower have been miscategorized as other Inventory Types such as:

  • Type 24 Mixed Extract for Inhalation

    • This type is intended for Vape Cartridges

    • This type applies to the Concentrate Allotment

  • Type 31 Marijuana Mixed Packaged (mixed packed flower)

    • This type is intended to mixed flower that does NOT contain any concentrates

    • This type applies to the Flower Allotment

  • Type 28 Usable Cannabis

    • This type is intended for non-conentrated cannabis products

    • This type applies to the Flower Allotment

When an infused preroll or infused flower is miscategorized in BioTrack, BioTrack applies the ‘usableweightperunit’ from the inventory product to the inventory type specified on the BioTrack inventory. Using the example above, BioTrack would apply Type 24 to the concentrate allotment and Type 31 to the Flower allotment irrespective of how the product is classified in Treez.

While Type 24 still applies to the correct concentrate allotment, it is still technically incorrectly categorized and should be corrected before any sales are made against this product.

Type 31 will apply to the incorrect allotment, Flower, and is incorrectly categorized. The Inventory Type should be corrected before any sales are made against this product.
