When a retailer receives products, they should ensure that the products have the appropriate inventory types in BioTrack. Specifically, if you see an Infused product listed as any inventory type other than type 32 Marijuana Mix Infused (mixed concentrates), they should immediately work with the vendor to resolve this prior to receiving this into Treez for the best results.

According to BioTrack Support,if a retailer receives incorrectly categorized inventory, the Inventory Type can be updated in BioTrack in 2 ways:

The retailer may return the inventory to the vendor and ask the vendor to work with the state and Biotrack to update the inventory type.

Option 1:

The vendor can contact the state to request approval to get the inventory types changed.

The state will need the following information:

        • The barcodeID

        • The Inventory Room they are stored in

        • The license number

        • What the inventory type is currently and what the inventory type needs to be updated to.

Once approved, the vendor would then need to reach out to BioTrack Support to make the change on the BioTrack backend.

Option 2:

The retailer may work with the state and BioTrack to update the inventory type.

The retailer will need to contact the state to request the Inventory Type update.

      • The state will need the following information:

        • The barcodeID

        • The Inventory Room they are stored in

        • The license number

        • What the inventory type is currently and what the inventory type needs to be updated to.

Once approved, the retailer will then need to reach out to BioTrack Support to make the change on the BioTrack backend.
