Enable ACH Refunds: Ensure that the ACH payment type is enabled and that the "Allow Returns" option is checked.
You can choose whether a manager's PIN is required for returns by selecting the appropriate checkbox.
Save Settings: After making the necessary adjustments, don't forget to save your changes.
Step 2: Navigate to POS for Refund
Access the Retail POS: Log in to your Tree POS system.
Find Recent Transactions: From your checkout screen, go to "Current Sales Bills" and select "View Recent Receipts" to display recent transactions.
Select the Transaction: Identify the transaction you wish to refund, especially one originally processed as an ACH transaction.
Step 3: Process the Refund
Choose Refund Option:
Once you've selected the appropriate transaction and pulled it into your cart, look towards the bottom right to choose the "Refund" option.
You’ll have various refund options, including cash, gift card, ACH, and partial refund. For ACH, choose "Refund to ACH".

Alternative Refund Options: If immediate refunds are needed and ACH is not available, consider issuing refunds in cash or via other available options.
