The Product List Page is a read-only view designed for catalog-enabled environments. It provides users with complete visibility into product details, including linked Catalog Products, Inventory, and Invoices, without allowing any modifications. This page mirrors the legacy Product Management page in structure but removes create, edit, and delete functionality to maintain data consistency across catalog environments.
The Product List page activates automatically when the Catalog feature is enabled in the environment. It ensures that catalog product data can be viewed and referenced but not edited.
Purpose
The Product List page was introduced to give users a clear, accessible view of product availability within catalog-enabled environments. It:
Displays real-time inventory counts by product, allowing users to quickly assess stock levels.
Offers a filterable, read-only view focused on products currently in stock.
Provides seamless navigation from each product to its related Inventory and Invoice records for complete operational visibility.
Key Features
1. Read-Only Product View
The Product List replicates the legacy Product Management interface.
All modification options (create, edit, delete) are disabled.
Displays catalog-managed product data in a view-only format.
2. Access Control
Access to the Product List page is managed by a dedicated role permission:
Sell Treez > Product > Product List
This permission must be enabled for users who need to view the page.
Users without this permission cannot access the Product List page or open the read-only product drawer.
3. Linked Data References
Each product record includes:
Catalog Product Link – Direct navigation to the associated product record in the Catalog module.
Inventory Links – Access related inventory records.
Invoice Links – View invoices associated with the product.
4. Read-Only Drawer from Inventory Management
When a product is selected from the Inventory Management screen, a read-only drawer opens.
This drawer uses the same data and layout as the Product List view.
Provides consistent, non-editable product visibility across both contexts.
5. Catalog-Specific Availability
The Product List page is only available for catalog-enabled environments.
