Same-day ACH is a faster version of the standard ACH payment processing service. Same-Day ACH was introduced in phases, with its initial phase launched on September 23, 2016, by the National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA).
Using Same-Day ACH allows for faster transfer of funds compared to regular ACH transactions, i.e. the ACH transaction is often settled the same day.
