Our newest label maker allows you to create and customize Inventory, Batch, and Customer labels. With increased flexibility, you can now easily edit a label's placement and size, enter static text with limitless characters, and link data pulled from SellTreez. On top of it all, the new Customer label can be printed at Point of Sale, and for Arizona and Michigan operators, can be used for Deli Sales.

To have this feature enabled, please reach out to your Account Manager or our Support team. Once enabled, you’ll need to create templates to be used for each of your label types.

Creating a New Label

All of your labels will be stored in Configuration > Config Page > Label (new) > Label Management. Switching between label types in the drop-down menu will display all of your previously-created templates for each label type. To create a new label, follow the steps below:

NOTE: Currently, a label’s type cannot be changed after it has been created, i.e., an Inventory label cannot be switched to a Batch label. Instead, you will have to create the label over, selecting the correct label type from the beginning.

Step 1: Navigate to Configurations > Config Page > Label (new) > Label Management. Select the blue Create Label button.

Step 2: Choose the Label Type and Label Size you’d like to create. Then, select the Next button.

  • Label Types:

  • Default Label Sizes: The sizes that populate in the drop-down are simply the default options and can be customized in the Label Editor Canvas.

    • .5” x .5”

    • 2” x 1”

    • 4” x 3”

    • Left, center, and right justification

  3. Barcode

    • A scannable 1D barcode that you can associate with product information or a dynamic field.

    • Scale the size, and rotate the barcode from horizontal to vertical orientation

  4. QR Code

    • A scannable QR code that you can associate with a dynamic field

    • Scale the size from 0.2" to 0.8".

    • The "Treez Barcode" (Inventory Barcode) value should not be used with a QR code as Treez Barcodes use mixed case characters and QR codes do not support lowercase characters.

  5. Clear All Fields

    • This button will clear all information associated with any fields that appear on the Label Editor Canvas.

  6. Save

    • Saves any changes to the label

  7. Save as New

    • Manually change the label size (length and width)

    • Manually change the margins

  11. Print Preview

    • Displays what your label will look like when printed.

    • Use the gear setting icon to adjust the print view on the label

    • Add the number of labels per row, spacing between labels, and paper margins around the labels

Step 4: After completing your label, click the green Save button.

Step 5: Name the label. Our suggested naming convention is to include the label type and size (e.g., Inventory label 2x1). Next, click the blue Create New Label button. The label is now ready to be used!
