Treez Ecommerce comes with a slew of customization options, both for your site's appearance and for how it functions. Many of these functional configurations are controlled by feature flags.
Feature flags allow you to turn select features on or off to better suite your dispensary's operations. Treez Ecommerce feature flags are controlled at an organization level within your Ecommerce Admin panel.
How to Edit Find Feature Flags
To find and edit feature flag settings:
Login to to your Treez Ecommerce Admin panel
Go to the Settings page
Click into Customization
For the feature flag you want to edit, click the Toggle to turn it on or off.
To save your changes, click Update in the upper right corner.
To publish your changes, click Store Status in the top right, then Purge Cache, then Publish.
Overview of Available Feature Flags
Below you'll find an overview of Treez Ecommerce feature flags and what they do.
Global
Strike through pricing: When on, discounted products with show their original price with strike-through stylization. This allows shoppers to compare the discounted price to the original price so they can better understand the value of the deal.
Out of stock products: When on, your site will display all products in your inventory, even if they are currently out of stock. This allows shoppers to find products they may want to buy upon restock, even though they can't order them right now.
Med & Rec: When on, this gives shoppers the option to toggle between medical and recreational inventory at the top of your site. This should be on for stores that sell to both medical patients and adult use customers.
Wishlist: When on, this gives shoppers the option to save products to a wishlist.
Cancel Order: When on, this gives customers the option to cancel an order through their order confirmation email or order details page. When off, customers can only cancel an order by contacting your store.
Checkout
Allow guest checkout: When on, shoppers will be able to checkout and submit an order without creating an account.
DL (Driver's License) Validation
Verify on Delivery: When on, customers who have not already been verified will be prompted to upload a valid driver's license photo when submitting a delivery order.
Verify on Pickup: When on, customers who have not already been verified will be prompted to upload a valid driver's license photo when submitting a pickup order. Once the order is submitted, this photo will be added to their customer profile in SellTreez.
Product Detail
Continue shopping: When on, a button to Continue Shopping is displayed on product detail pages.
Product warning: When on, product health warnings for California's Proposition 65 will display on product detail pages.
Kiosk
Add to cart in kiosk: When on, customers will not be able to add products to their cart in kiosk mode.
"Checkout — ..." settings: When on, each of these fields (First name, Last name, etc.) will be required to submit an order in kiosk mode. Learn more about Checkout-Enabled Kiosk Mode here.
