Week of November 20th, 2024

New Features

Option to Require Store Selection Before Shopping — Prompt site visitors to choose a location prior to viewing products. Turning this config on will help ensure visitors are seeing the right inventory and deals for their desired store.

Lab Results Displayed in More Product Descriptions — Now, lab results will appear in the product description for any products that have lab results available in either the inventory or product card in SellTreez. Before now, only inventory-level lab results populated to ecomm product listings. This means more information is available to online shoppers looking at Beverage, Edibles, Pills, Tinctures, and Topicals.

New Features

Option to display low stock products on your menu — Using the Out of stock/Low stock config in combination with the SellTreez Minimum quantity menu threshold ecommerce config will display low-inventory products as "Low Stock" and available "In Store Only". Shoppers can add Low Stock products to their favorites but cannot purchase them.

Set up redirects for high-traffic pages from your previous website. — Set up redirects from an outdated URL to the corresponding new destination page using the Redirect app in your Treez Ecommerce Admin panel.

New Features

Customizable Out of Stock Page — Displays a default page with an out of stock message when a shopper clicks on a category, brand, product type or strain without products currently available. The content and style of this page are customizable to suit your needs. Simply customize the primary Default Product Listings Page, or choose to create a custom Out of Stock page for every product category in your catalog.

Custom Product Groups — Leverage SellTreez product groups to create curated product carousels and dedicated, filterable landing pages in Treez Ecommerce. Great for showcasing Staff Picks, Recommended Products, Wellness goods, and more!

Filters Added to Promotions Page — Shoppers can now filter your current promotions by brand and by category, to help them find specials that are relevant to them faster.

Enhancements & Bug Fixes

  • Alphabetized sort & filter options — On any filterable page, the list of options in the dropdown menu will now be displayed in A-to-Z order.

  • Product descriptions line breaks fixed — Previously, SellTreez product description line breaks were not being read by Treez Ecommerce unless HTML was included. Now, Treez Ecomm will read all line breaks from SellTreez without the need for the user to add HTML.

  • Kiosk Mode search fixed — Previously, search queries in Kiosk Mode were returning incomplete results. This has been resolved.

New Features

Option to Require ID Upload for New Customer Orders — When the DL (Driver's License) Validation Verify on Pickup and/or Verify on Delivery feature flag(s) are enabled, your site will prompt new customers to upload a photo of their driver’s license before they submit their first order, whether for pickup and/or delivery, respectively.

  • Then, your fulfillment team will be able to review the customer's ID photo in SellTreez and verify the customer for all future orders.

  • Note this feature requires that your team still manually reviews the customer's ID photo before verifying their profile.

Option to Allow Online Order Cancellation — When the Cancel Order feature flag is turned on, this config lets your customers cancel their order themselves without having to contact the store.

Option to Enable Tipping for Stronghold ACH — When Allow Tipping is turned on for the Stronghold app, your customers will be able to add a tip when paying ahead online.

Enhancements & Bug Fixes

Product Sort Options Updated — We've removed the option to sort alphabetically by Type due to lack of use. Shoppers can still sort by Price (Low/High), THC (High/Low), Brand (A/Z), and Classification (A/Z).

New Features

New Product Card Style Variations — Customize your website's look and feel even more with the addition of three new style options for product cards.

Hide Promo Products from Menu — Now you can automatically hide promo products from your menu by setting a Promo Price Threshold.

Enhancements & Bug Fixes

  • Option to Disable Age Gate — Using Treez Ecommerce in tandem with a website that already has an age gate? Now you can easily disable the Treez Ecomm Age Gate by unpublishing the page.

  • Treez Ticket Number Added to Customer Order History & Confirmation Email — Now, your customers will see the Treez ticket ID in their order history on your site and in their order confirmation email, so it’s easier to reference for any order-related communications with your team. (Previously, customers saw an ecomm-specific order ID that didn’t match the ID in Treez.)

  • Improved Calculations for Post-Tax Pricing Totals — The calculations shown in the cart preview and at checkout are now more clear and accurate for stores that use post-tax pricing. (Previously, how subtotal, total, and taxes were shown may have been confusing.)

New Features

  • New options for Guest Checkout required fields in Kiosk Mode — Kiosk mode can now be configured to require minimal personal information at checkout, allowing your customers to submit orders faster and with less personally identifiable information at your discretion.

  • Surfside integration — Displays relevant, brand-designed ads for products you already carry in select places throughout your Treez Ecommerce site. Helps you convert more shoppers to customers and drives additional revenue.

New Features

Dedicated Promotions page — Displays a grid view of all current promos on one page, automatically. Shoppers can get here via the Promo Carousel anytime there are more promos available than what can be shown in the carousel view on their screen.

Discounts visibility in cart & checkout — Displays all discounted pricing and a total of the discounts being applied in the cart preview. These amounts match what customers will see at checkout.

Automated promo cards — Easily set up promo cards to be created & updated automatically based on your active discounts in SellTreez. The POS discount title will appear as the promo card title text.

Learn how to set up your promo cards to auto-update in 3 minutes or less, so you don't need to configure them manually for every promo.

Enhancements

  • (Near-)Instant publishing — Publishing changes from the Prismic CMS will now show up on your website almost instantly (in seconds, not minutes.)

  • Automated promo CTA links — Promo cards and their CTA button will automatically populate with the same link to relevant products, without the need to input a CTA link manually. (You can still override the CTA link manually if you need to.)

  • New quick filters for Deals page — Shoppers can now filter your Deals page faster and more easily by category, type, and brand.
