Manage pricing updates directly without editing each product individually. Each import is recorded in History, where you can review price changes and undo an import within 7 days after it finishes.
Coming soon: Bulk Price Update will initially be available as a limited release for select organizations and must be enabled before it can be used.
Before You Begin
Bulk Price Update must be enabled for your organization.
Your role must include the Catalog Management → Catalog Manage permission.
Use a Pricing Export from this tool as your import template.
Keep TreezProductId and TreezVariantId unchanged. These identify each SKU.
Upload your edited file as a CSV, up to 100 MB.
Best Practices
Start with a fresh pricing export. Use current prices as your starting point to avoid importing outdated values.
Keep changes focused. Remove price columns you do not intend to update and leave store cells blank when their prices should stay unchanged.
Preserve product and SKU IDs. Do not edit TreezProductId or TreezVariantId. When sorting, sort the entire table so IDs stay aligned with their prices.
Check price tier assignments. Use the same default tier name on every applicable row for a product. Promo, sample, and display rows should keep that field blank.
Review validation results before confirming. Resolve reported issues and double-check prices, decimal values, and store columns.
Coordinate pricing changes. Avoid having multiple users update the same prices while an import is being prepared or processed.
Verify the results. Review Import results for failed rows and Price changes to confirm the intended updates.
Review promptly. Undo is available for 7 days after an import finishes. Later price changes are preserved and skipped during undo.
Open Bulk Price Update
Open Catalog.
Select Manage.
Select Bulk Price Update.
Use the Import tab to export prices and upload your edited file. Use History to review previous imports and undo eligible changes.
Export Your Current Prices
Go to Catalog → Manage → Bulk Price Update → Import.
Select Generate Pricing Export.
Open the exported CSV in Excel or Google Sheets.
The exported file contains your current catalog prices and serves as the import template.
Prepare Your Pricing File
Understand Products and SKU Rows
Each row represents one SKU, identified by TreezVariantId. A product, identified by TreezProductId, can include multiple SKUs and therefore appear on multiple rows.
Base Price applies to an individual SKU row. Price Tier Name applies to the whole product and must be consistent across its applicable SKU rows.
Keep the File Structure
Do not add or rename columns.
Keep TreezProductId and TreezVariantId unchanged.
Columns such as Brand, Product Category, and SKU Name are for reference and are not imported. Keep them to help identify products.
Removing a price column leaves those prices unchanged.
Update Base Prices
Base Price is set per SKU. Edit the value on each SKU row you want to update.
Assign a Default Price Tier
Price Tier Name applies to the whole product. To assign a product to a tier, enter the same tier name on every row for that product. Leave Price Tier Name blank for promo, sample, and display rows, which use Base Price.
A blank Price Tier Name keeps the product’s current tier. The import cannot remove a product’s default price tier. To remove it, open the product in the catalog and set its Default Price Method to Flat.
Update Store Prices
Use the store columns to update pricing for individual stores.
Store cell value | Result |
A number | Sets the store’s price |
A price tier name | Assigns that tier for the store |
Blank | Keeps the store’s current price |
| Clears the store’s price |
Upload and Validate Your File
Save your edited spreadsheet as a CSV.
Return to Catalog → Manage → Bulk Price Update → Import.
Select Choose CSV File to Import.
Upload your file.
Select Validate file.
Review the validation results and address any reported issues.
Confirm the import when you are ready to apply the changes.
The initial upload and validation of the file does not change prices. Changes are applied only after you confirm the import.
Review Import History
Go to Catalog → Manage → Bulk Price Update → History.
Open the import you want to review.
The import details show its status, start and completion times, total records, processed records, and errors.
Use the Import results tab to review row results, including failed rows.
View the Price Change Log
Select Price changes to review the prices updated by the import.
The log identifies the product, SKU, and price type, along with:
Column | Description |
Before import | The value before the import |
Imported | The value applied by the import |
Now | The current value, including any later updates |
Use the Price type and Store filters or search to find specific changes.
Only prices changed by the import appear in this log. Failed rows are listed under Import results.
Undo an Import
Each import can be undone for 7 days after it finishes. Before confirming, you can preview which prices will be restored and which will remain unchanged.
Go to Catalog → Manage → Bulk Price Update → History.
Open the import you want to undo.
Select Undo import to open the undo preview.
Review both tabs:
Will revert: Compare Now with After undo to see which prices will return to their values before the import.
Changed since import: Compare Before import, Imported, and Now to review prices updated after the import. These prices will remain unchanged.
Use the Store filter or search to find specific changes.
Select Undo import when you are ready.
Review the confirmation showing how many price changes will be reverted and how many will be left as they are. Select Undo import again to confirm.
Opening the preview does not change prices. Only eligible price changes are reverted; later updates are preserved. Changes involving a price tier that was deleted or made inactive are also skipped.
Review Undo Results
After undoing the import, open its Price changes tab. The summary shows the number of reverted and skipped changes.
Restored prices display Reverted under Outcome. Skipped prices display Left alone.
Use the Outcome filter to review reverted and skipped changes and the Now column to check their current values.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does uploading a file immediately change prices?
No. The file is validated first, and prices only change after you confirm the import.
Can I update prices for individual stores?
Yes. Enter a price or price tier name in the store’s column. Leave a cell blank to keep its current price, or enter DELETE to clear it.
Can I leave some prices unchanged?
Yes. Removing a price column leaves those prices unchanged. Blank store cells also preserve the store’s current price.
Can I remove a product’s default price tier through the import?
No. A blank Price Tier Name keeps the current tier. To remove it, edit the product and change its Default Price Method to Flat.
Can I update product names, brands, or categories through this import?
No. Those columns are for reference. Bulk Price Update imports pricing changes only.
Where can I review the prices changed by an import?
Open the import in History, then select Price changes to compare the values before the import, applied by the import, and currently in use.
Can I undo an import?
Yes. Select Undo import from the import’s details in History within 7 days after it finishes.
Why were some prices skipped during undo?
Prices are skipped if they changed after the original import or their price tier was deleted or made inactive. These rows display Left alone in the price change log, and their current values are preserved.
