Change Receipt Font Size
To adjust the font size on your receipts printed using the Treez Hardware Agent, simply change the Windows display resolution by following these steps.
Step 1: Navigate to your Windows desktop and right-click on an empty area.
Step 2: Select Display Settings and then scroll down until you locate the dropdown titled 'Change the size of text, apps, and other items'.
Step 3: Use the dropdown to select an option below your current setting if you'd like your font size to be larger, or an option above your current setting if you'd like your font size to be smaller.
NOTE: Though it may seem counterintuitive, the lower percentages will result in a larger font. We usually recommend 125% as the standard receipt font size.
Step 4 (Microsoft Surface Pros ONLY): Set the 'Resolution' dropdown to 1680 x 1050.
Step 5: Restart the computer, and then restart the Treez Hardware Agent in order for your changes to take effect.
Step 6: Perform a test print to view the new font size.
NOTE: If the change to the display settings makes the screen display in your Treez portal larger or smaller than you'd like, simply use the Chrome commands to zoom in (Ctrl +) or zoom out (Ctrl -).
You can repeat the steps above until you've found the perfect font size.

Adjust Margins
To adjust your receipt margins to our recommended setting, follow the steps below and ensure the
correct paper is selected in both printing preferences and printer properties
Step 1: Navigate to SellTreez and select Print Window as the print location.
Step 2: Click on the Current Sale tile > View Recent Receipts, and select any recent transaction.
Step 3: Click Print Receipt, which will open the standard Windows print dialogue page and confirm that the correct paper size is selected in both 'Printing Preferences' and 'Printer Properties' sections.
Step 4: Click More Settings. In the 'Margins' dropdown, select 'None'.
Step 5: Print the receipt.
The settings will be saved with the correct margins, so you can reset the print location to your desired printer in SellTreez.
