What Is This Feature?
The "Send Inventory Adjustments to Metrc" setting allows you to control whether inventory adjustments made in your Treez system are communicated to your state’s track-and-trace system — either Metrc or BioTrack.
This setting helps ensure that your inventory records stay in sync with state compliance requirements without requiring manual entry or redundant processes.
How It Works:
Changes to this setting may take up to 5 minutes to take effect. Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes after enabling or disabling this option before making inventory adjustments to avoid incorrect behavior.
Navigate to Config Page -> Inventory -> Traceability
Enabled (Green and to the Right):
Inventory adjustments made in Treez will be automatically transmitted to the track-and-trace system. This ensures regulatory compliance in real-time or near real-time.
Disabled (Gray and to the Left):
Inventory adjustments will not be sent. This might be used during testing, troubleshooting, or when managing non-reportable inventory.
When to Use It
Use this setting when:
You want to ensure automatic compliance with Metrc or BioTrack.
You need to temporarily pause inventory syncing for troubleshooting.
You're adjusting non-reportable inventory and don't want it reflected in the track-and-trace system.
FAQ
Q: What happens if I make an adjustment while this setting is off?
A: The adjustment will apply only within Treez and won’t be sent to the external compliance system.
Q: Can I enable this for some adjustments and not others?
A: No, this is a global setting. It applies to all adjustments made while the toggle is active.
If you have further questions, please contact Treez Support or consult your state's compliance documentation for guidance on inventory adjustment reporting.
