Note: Receipt Type selection (Packing vs. Detailed) is available starting in version 69.8.0. In earlier versions, Fulfillment automatically prints a single standard itemized receipt with no receipt type selection. In 69.8.0 and later, this same itemized receipt is referred to as the Detailed receipt.

Navigation

  1. Log in to Treez.

  2. From your specific store location's left-hand menu, go to:
Configuration → Config Page → Fulfillment → Automatic Receipt Printing

Automatic Receipt Printing Settings

Under the Automatic Receipt Printing section, you’ll see toggle options for various order statuses. Enabling a toggle means that a receipt will automatically print when an order reaches that status.

Settings

  • Auto Print

    • Must be enabled to allow any status-based printing.

Receipt Type

  • NEW! Packing

    • A simplified receipt for picking and packing items.

  • Detailed

    • A full itemized receipt similar to the POS receipt, including pricing, discounts, taxes, and compliance details.

Print By Hardware Location

  • Auto Print Select Hardware Locations

    • Receipts will automatically print only at fulfillment stations configured to the selected hardware locations.

Available Statuses

  • Verification Pending

    • When enabled, prints a receipt automatically when an order enters the Verification Pending state.

  • Awaiting Processing

    • A receipt will print automatically when a new order is in Awaiting Processing.

  • New POS Ticket → In Process

    • When enabled, orders created in the POS bypass the Awaiting Processing stage and move directly to In Process. Orders in the In Process status are not eligible for auto-print.

    • When disabled, orders created in the POS will appear in the Awaiting Processing and will auto-print if the Awaiting Processing auto-print setting above is enabled.

      • If your dispensary uses the in-store fulfillment model and you want orders created in-store to auto-print to fulfillment, it is recommended to keep this setting disabled.

  • Packed & Ready

    • When enabled, a receipt prints when the order is marked as Packed & Ready.

  • Completed

    • When enabled, a receipt prints when the order is Completed.

Finish Setup

  • Navigate to Retail → Fulfillment

    • Confirm the correct hardware location is selected in the upper-right corner of the dashboard, especially if you configured specific hardware locations for auto-print above.

  • Orders that reach an enabled status on this open dashboard will automatically print at the selected hardware location.

Best Practices

  • Enable only the statuses that align with your store's workflow.

  • Always turn on “Auto Print” first, or none of the individual status toggles will function.

  • Ensure that your printer is properly configured and connected to the Treez Hardware Agent app.

If you open the Fulfillment dashboard on POS or shared stations, carefully configure which hardware locations are selected for auto-print. This ensures receipts do not print at unintended stations, especially POS terminals, where receipt printing may trigger the cash drawer to open.

To prevent duplicate receipts for the same order, ensure the Fulfillment dashboard is not open on multiple browsers or devices assigned to the same hardware location with auto-print enabled. Only one receipt prints per browser for a given hardware location. However, separate browsers or devices with Fulfillment open and assigned to the same hardware location will each trigger their own print.
