Loyalty ID Lookup

Information about the Loyalty ID Lookup functionality seen in both Customer Management and the SellTreez POS.

Overview

The Loyalty ID Lookup feature lets staff verify and update a customer's loyalty ID directly from Customer Management or the Point of Sale (POS). Use it when a customer's loyalty account appears out of sync β€” for example, when a wallet error occurs at the POS or a loyalty ID needs to be confirmed.

This feature is available for dispensaries integrated with Treez Loyalty or Alpine IQ (AIQ).


Using Loyalty ID Lookup in Customer Management

Where to find it:

When editing a customer profile in Customer Management, a magnifying glass icon will appear next to the Integrated Loyalty Member field.

Note: The lookup button only appears when the customer already has a loyalty ID on file. It will not be visible for customers without an existing loyalty ID.

How to use it:

1. Navigate to Customer Management and open the customer's profile.

2. Click Edit to enter edit mode.

3. Locate the Integrated Loyalty Member field.

4. Click the magnifying glass icon next to the field to trigger a loyalty ID lookup.

5. The system will query your configured loyalty provider (Treez Loyalty or AIQ) and compare the result against what is currently stored for the customer.

Possible outcomes:

  • Loyalty ID is already up to date

    • A message confirms that the loyalty ID on file matches the loyalty provider's record.

    • No changes are made.

  • A different loyalty ID is found

    • A confirmation prompt appears showing both the current ID and the newly found ID.

    • Click Yes to update the customer's loyalty ID to the new value.

    • Click No to cancel without making any changes.

  • No loyalty record is found

    • A prompt appears asking if you want to clear the customer's existing loyalty ID.

    • Click Yes to remove the loyalty ID from the customer's profile.

    • Click No to cancel without making any changes.


Using Loyalty ID Lookup from a POS Wallet Error

If the POS is unable to load a customer's loyalty wallet, an error message will appear with a Find updated wallet button.

Clicking Find updated wallet triggers the same loyalty ID lookup described above. Depending on the result, you will be prompted to update or clear the loyalty ID, or informed that the ID is already current.

This allows staff to resolve wallet errors in real time without leaving the POS.


Things to know

  • The lookup button only appears when the customer has an existing loyalty ID β€” it will not show for customers without one.

  • This feature works with both Treez Loyalty and Alpine IQ (AIQ). The lookup automatically uses whichever provider is configured for your store.

  • Declining a prompt at any step cancels the operation without making changes to the customer's record.
