What is AOV?

AOV (Average Order Value) is the average dollar amount spent per customer order within a set period (such as a shift).

This metric helps track sales performance and customer spending habits at the register. In SellTreez, the AOV display updates daily or per shift to give budtenders and managers real-time insight into sales trends.

Configuration

To configure the Average Order Value display, navigate to Configurations > Config Page > POS and expand User Interface. Toggle "on" Show Average Order Value. This is a daily/shift AOV only.

This configuration is on by default. Simply toggle it off if you choose not to have this shown on the POS screen.

This AOV is now displayed when you navigate to Retail > POS > and log in:

Note:

  • Fully refunded tickets are not counted in the AOV calculation.

  • Partially refunded tickets are counted, and the post refund amount is used in the AOV calculation.

  • Refunded tickets count for the budtender and shift where they originated and not the budtender/shift where the refund is processed.
