Workflow for Prepaid Orders:

Grouping and Status:

  1. Critical Step: Group Orders

    • Group all delivery orders within the "Packed and Ready" status in your fulfillment module. If orders are not grouped for delivery, they will not be sent to Metrc.

  2. Move to Out for Delivery

    • Move the delivery group to "Out for Delivery." Treez will automatically create the delivery orders in Metrc.

Handling Changes After Departure:

  1. Metrc Lock:

    • Once the delivery has departed, Metrc locks the order, preventing the ability to add additional units.

  2. Item Removal:

    • If You Wish to Remove an Item:

      • Edit the order in Treez and remove the package.

      • When the driver returns to the store:

        • Navigate to the delivery order in Metrc.

        • Select "Complete" in Metrc.

    • Critical Step: Reject Package

      • Reject the package containing the removed item before selecting 'Complete Sales Delivery.

      • Important: If this step is missed and the order is completed in Treez first, then Treez will complete the Delivery Order in Metrc as is is in Metrc, which will include the package that was removed from the Treez order after the order was created in Metrc.

  3. Finalization:

    • Complete the order in Treez after the order has been completed in Metrc.

    • Ensure the new delivery order is properly recorded in both Treez and Metrc.

Cancelling Prepaid Orders:

  • Complete the order in Treez, which will complete the order in Metrc.

    • This must be done for inventory quantities to align!

  • Process a refund in Treez for cash handling purposes and to add units back into Metrc.

  • Create a new order in Treez to replace the canceled order, if you wish to do so.
